A website redesign checklist for Klamath Falls businesses that need more leads

A redesign should repair the system, not just repaint the brochure.

1. Can a stranger understand the offer in five seconds?

The homepage should answer who you help, what you do, where you serve, and what to do next. If the hero section is vague, every other part of the site has to work harder.

Local customers do not need clever. They need confidence.

  • Use plain service language
  • Name the local market where relevant
  • Show the primary CTA above the fold
  • Make the first paragraph sound human

2. Does mobile feel easy?

Most local decision-making happens on a phone. Buttons need room. Forms need to be short. Phone, email, and service pages need to be obvious. If mobile feels cramped, the redesign is not finished.

Good mobile UX is not decoration. It is sales infrastructure.

3. Does the Google profile tell the same story?

A redesign should not happen in isolation. If the website says one thing and the Google profile says another, the customer feels uncertainty. Align categories, services, location language, photos, and review themes.

The website and profile should reinforce each other like two sides of the same storefront.

4. Is the contact path owned and tested?

A beautiful form that does not deliver is a silent business problem. Before launch, test the contact form, inbox destination, fallback email, spam handling, and notification path.

Also check who owns the domain, DNS, hosting, analytics, and form provider. A redesign should reduce vendor fog, not add more.

  • Submit a real test form
  • Confirm inbox delivery
  • Document DNS and hosting access
  • Add a fallback contact method
  • Verify analytics and conversion events

5. Is there proof where the buyer hesitates?

Reviews and testimonials should not hide on a separate page nobody visits. Place proof near service explanations, CTAs, pricing context, and contact prompts. The goal is to answer doubt at the moment it appears.

That is the difference between a brochure and a lead system.
