FAQ

Plain answers before you ask for help.

Southern Oregon Web helps local businesses with websites, Google, forms, email, missed calls and office tech, with plain answers instead of a sales pitch.

Do you use AI?

I use some modern software to do the busywork faster. That's how I keep prices low. But you're dealing with me, a real local guy, and I check everything before it goes out. Nothing talks to your customers unless you've heard it and said yes. Most of what I do is plain tech: websites, Google listings, email, and computers. If you'd rather I keep something on your account fully manual, just tell me. It may take a little longer, that's all.

What are the annual, monthly and pay-as-you-go options?

Simple pricing. No contract required. Work with Tim the way that fits your business. Whichever you choose, your rates are locked for your first year. Annual plan (Best value): Commit for 12 months. No setup fee, your first month is free, and your price stays the same all year. Monthly plan (Flexible): $99 one-time setup. Cancel anytime. Your monthly price is locked for your first 12 months. Pay as you go (No plan needed): Call or text when something comes up and pay per job. Your rates are locked for your first year. Not happy after your first month on a monthly plan? You get that month's plan fee back.

What is the free 15-min checkup?

It is a first look at your website, Google presence, and how customers reach you. You get plain feedback about what to fix first, not a mystery sales package.

Is the 15-minute checkup really free?

Yes. The checkup is free. If there is work worth doing, I will tell you what I would fix first and what it would cost.

How long does it take?

Most first looks are short. Send the request, and I will follow up with plain notes or a call after I review the site, Google profile, or Facebook page.

Do I need a website already?

No. If you only have a Facebook page or Google profile, send that.

What happens after?

If there is a clear fix, I will tell you the priority and give you a plain next-step price. There is no obligation.

Who is this for?

Small businesses in Klamath Falls, Medford, Grants Pass, Ashland, Central Point, Roseburg, Lakeview and nearby Southern Oregon towns.

Do I need a big website?

No. Most local businesses first need a clear homepage, a few strong service pages, a working contact path, and local proof customers can trust.

Can you fix an existing website instead of rebuilding it?

Yes. If the site is worth saving, Tim can repair the parts that block customer inquiries first. If the old setup is fighting the business, he will say that plainly.

Can you guarantee Google rankings?

No. Nobody should guarantee rankings. Southern Oregon Web can clean up the basics, line up website and local signals, and make the business easier for customers and search engines to understand.

How do I know if my contact form works?

Submit it from the live website and confirm the message arrives in the actual inbox you check. The reply path and fallback phone or email matter too.

Do you serve businesses outside Klamath Falls?

Yes. Southern Oregon Web is based in Klamath Falls and serves businesses across Southern Oregon, including Medford, Grants Pass, Roseburg, Lakeview, and nearby towns.

Will I own my website and accounts?

That is the goal. Your domain, website, email, and important accounts should stay in your name whenever possible, with plain documentation instead of vague vendor answers.

Do you do full managed IT?

For small offices that want one local person, yes. My Tech Partner plan covers everyday tech help, accounts, backups, and security for a flat monthly price. If you need a 24/7 enterprise help desk, I'll tell you and point you to the right fit.
