Small-town practical
I know many small businesses do not have time for tech projects that never end. You need the phone to ring, the form to work, the email to deliver, and the account access to be clear.
I am Tim Gelhardt, born and raised in Klamath Falls. I started Southern Oregon Web to give local business owners plain, practical help with websites, Google, email, forms, and computers.
I have 25 years in IT (since 2001), including earlier roles and 11 years at South Valley Bank & Trust, followed by 12 years at Ed Staub & Sons Petroleum (FastBreak convenience stores). I helped keep local banking and multi-site retail systems working.
That work was not theory. It was helping employees, branches, offices, and field teams when something important needed to work. Sometimes that meant remote support. Sometimes it meant being on-site. Most of the time it meant explaining the fix in plain English and making sure people could get back to work.

I look at websites like business systems, not decorations. If the phone number is hard to tap, the form does not deliver, Google has old information, or the domain is in the wrong account, that is a business problem. My job is to find it and fix it.
My prior IT work took me through Klamath Falls, Lakeview, Alturas, McCall, Medford, Bend, La Grande, Enterprise, Red Bluff, Ashland, and a lot of small towns in between.

A lot can be checked or fixed remotely. When a problem needs local eyes or hands, I will say so instead of pretending everything is a web design issue.
Southern Oregon Web is a new business, so I am keeping the first step simple. Send me your website, Facebook page, Google listing, or business name. I will look for the practical problems that can stop customers from reaching you.
If I find something worth fixing, I will explain it clearly. If I do not, I will tell you that too.
Request the free 15-min checkupI use some modern software to do the busywork faster. That's how I keep prices low. But you're dealing with me, a real local guy, and I check everything before it goes out. Nothing talks to your customers unless you've heard it and said yes. Most of what I do is plain tech: websites, Google listings, email, and computers. If you'd rather I keep something on your account fully manual, just tell me. It may take a little longer, that's all.
Let's make it easier for customers to reach you. Start with a free 15-min checkup, or just give me a call.
